Job Summary:.
Coordinates outpatient programs that provide follow-up to infants in the High-Risk and NICU follow up clinics and the Pediatric Health Center (s), and Pediatric Services. Involves the identification of follow-up patients, meetings with the family to review program, appointment setting, weekly clinic set up and management, and coordination of the typing and mailing or evaluation summary letters to private pediatrician. Coordinates care for infants/ children and prepares reports that are performed as baseline and/or for diagnostic purposes. Organize and administers individualized age specific professional care to patients with an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, JCAHO requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in Unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities. Supports the philosophy, objectives and the mission of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning.

Qualifications:
Organize and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients with an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Work closely with neonatologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
Engage with families, providing education and support during complex decision-making processes regarding their infant s care. Assists with revenue cycle, billing, coding and follow-up for NICU, High-Risk infant follow-up, Pediatric Health Center, Pediatric Services.

Required
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school or university
- 3 5 years experience in Neonatal ICU in an acute care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work effectively in an outpatient setting and fast-paced NICU Level III where high stress may arise
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation
- Completion of all Orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center
- Successful completion of all orientation programs
- Master s degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association upon hire
- NRP certification from the American Heart Association
- PALS certification from the American Heart Association
- Full-Time
- Day shift
- 37.5 hrs. weekly
