Registered Nurse New

Pride Health is hiring an Emergency Room Registered Nurse to support our client’s medical facility based in Brooklyn, NY. This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care, including assessing needs, developing care plans, and ensuring delivery based on established standards.
• Diagnose and treat human responses to health issues through case finding, health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative care.
• Supervise and oversee patient care delivered by licensed practical nurses (LPNs), registered nurses on permit (RNP), nursing attendants, technicians, and other supplemental staff.
• Communicate and document the patient’s responses to illness and treatment, ensuring timely reassessment and adjustments to care plans when necessary.
• Coordinate and ensure the implementation of a comprehensive, multidisciplinary plan of care, considering patient priorities and integrating age-specific needs.

Qualifications:

• Required: BSN prepared with 2-3 years of experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center, TNCC, BLS, ACLS, PALS, AHA Stroke certification.
• Competent in managing vent/tracheostomy and gastrostomy tubes, medication titration, and utilizing electronic health records and healthcare systems.
• Preferred: Board Certification in nursing.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and education through staff development programs and relevant certifications.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
